I Love You, Still!

The cold wind was blowing so heavily over me
I could hear it whisper your name in my Ears
A smile crossed my heart and cried in tears
It brought me your memory
Oh, What a memory! What a memory!
OOooooh
I closed my eyes and folded my arms
And went to deep well of moments
When we were together... When we were togetherrrrrrrrr
You told me, you will be a gentleman,
Someone who would warm their betterhalf in cold times
Then I would tease you, I will be the man
And you don’t say anything and instead laugh at it
And make me feel like a man, like a girl, like a baby
You are a wonderful person I have ever met
A moment later, while we were still under the tree,
Gazing, Smiling and Cuddling
Holding our hands tightly
Like we will stay together forever
A storm of lightening built a wall against us
That as Sun slowed down at the back of mountains,
Your breathe stopped, your heartbeat beating for me ended
With a complete madness, I checked your pulse
But you were already gone
I cried for Mercy, I cried for Mercy to go with you to paradise
And let God take me with you
But nature has it that couples meet and departs
I couldn’t ask for more than to wish you a peaceful soul
To wander and see me from above
That last moment of gazing and holding warmed my heart
And cried for someone close I have loved since my childhood
Now see, where you are and where I am
Seeking shelter with your love at your parents place
They told me, you were breathing your last and wanted to be with me alone
Under the tree, Facing the Sun,
Gazing, Smiling and Cuddling
Holding our hands tightly
Such is the fate that I stopped believing in it.
I Love You My Love, See me smiling at you every single day.
I wish for a life again, a life again with yooooouuuuuuuuuuuuu

On Teacher's Day

Teacher helps us learn alphabet,
Shows direction, a student should know
A Teacher, even in stress
Lose no temper and passes on the best advice
\A Teacher, wise and honest
Hides no disguise,
Is open and shares from their heart
And in turn ask not for price
But ask for the priceless knowledge gained
You brought me indescribable joys
Filling my heart with moments of gold,
Even if I had stores of book,
I wouldn’t have dared to flip a single page without your guidance
In Teacher’s name, I became someone
Earned a name in the family, in the society, in my country
Not that I was the perfect student,
But you were the perfect teacher for me!

Happy Teacher’s Day on this very important occasion and I dedicate this to all the teachers that made their students suffer and succeed.

Bhutanese Styled Pasta

One of the fore most things I have learned to cook a different meal was Pasta since departing from my home country, Bhutan. I learned to stay independent and slowly began to cook other different meals. It all started when my old mate, Kezang served us Pasta as our lunch meal and sometimes as a dinner during my first year of university. I liked pasta more than any other meal. It is easy and fast to cook. Pasta increases calories in our body. It is nutritious and healthy.

Everyone knows s that Pasta is an Italian food and they take sauce as an additional taste. Italian Pasta is dry and less spicy. Since I don’t like sauce and sour taste in the meal, I cook in a Bhutanese method to suit my flavour. This means, I like to cook Pasta with soup, hot spices and cheese to make it gravy and tasty. So, I prefer my Bhutanese styled Pasta cooked at home rather than buying it from the restaurant.

I got so much attached with Pasta that I would take Pasta as my breakfast, lunch and dinner and then continue for weeks and months. Basically, I was not cooking rice or noodles. My friends were surprised and even told me, “Yeshi, aren’t you fed up eating the same meal?” and I answered, “NO, I am not” Pasta became my favourite meal. Fortunately or unfortunately, I even got a name, ‘Pasta Choden’ from one of my guy friend. The funniest part is, when my friend visits me, I cook Pasta for them. I am a Pasta icon (This is funnier) because I taught my other friends to cook my way of preparing Pasta.

Here are the tips to cook my style of Pasta

You will need:
A packet of Pasta
1 Chopped and sliced onions
2 round sliced potatoes and your other preferred green vegetables like peas and broccoli
1 chopped and sliced tomatoes
Oil, Salt, Cheese, Chilli (Raw and powdered)
Corriander/Lemon (Optional)

1. Put Pasta in a pan with hot boiled water (warm water is fine too)
2. Pour oil, salt and chilli powder (It creates colour to Pasta)
3. Then add potatoes and the spices
4. Keep it to cook for 15 to 20 minutes and stir
5. When it is cooked, keep the pan away from heat and add cheese and stir again
6. Put coriander for additional aroma
7. Lastly, serve it hot with lemon (optional)

I guarantee that you will enjoy eating Pasta as an occasional meal. In Bhutan, Pasta is usually given to kids as a change in their diet. I hope, everyone reading this post enjoys cooking Pasta and finds it delicious as much as I did and I STILL DO. Eat Pasta, stay healthy and live happily!!!

Some Interesting Facts

There are moments that you experience daily and you value little only because it is not a new incident any more and it happens to everybody. However it is fun to talk about when you have nothing to gossip whilst you are with your friends. Here are some interesting facts that define us in every moment of it.

Most of us get irritated when a person don’t say Hi back to us when s/he is still online and when they say, ‘sorry’, we are back to happy normal person and start chatting.

You walk bypass a girl or a boy and you don’t miss looking at their butts.

You shy away and change your expression when a bus crosses you for few seconds.

You feel like a hard working person and like a book warmer when you hold bunch of books in the front and it feels awesome.

You get caught up smiling at yourself and then you become serious and act as if nothing has happened to you.

We can’t stop looking at the glasses of Vehicles and glass doors and make over yourself and feel beautiful again.

When you are walking alone. you become double conscious about your walking style and no body is actually watching at you. Funny!

You stare at a couple dating or kissing and say to yourself, “What the hell are they doing in the middle of the crowd? ‘Animals!’.

You laugh seeing your grand parents fall asleep in the middle of watching television and you have no words to say to them than continue staring at them
You are stupidly annoyed with the socket and the wires when you get an electric shock suddenly.

Your heart skips a beat when you see a thin, long and curled structure figure in middle of the road because you assume, it is a snake and panic for a second and realise it is a dried twig or an old rubber.

Most of us go back to sleep with a hope to continue the dream and when it doesn’t, we are disappointed the next time we wake up.

After reading this, you will feel funny that you have actually experienced all of it and it still going to happen in the near future. WE NEVER KNOW and it is some thing that we have no control over it. All of these stupid incidents has now become part of us leaving a best impression of the funniest person alive living inside us.

Our Online Argument

It is interesting how online chatting have affect us just like a normal talk between friends nearby. It is more interesting when we have not met for real and we are still arguing over and again.

It was yesterday evening that I was having a conversation with one of my far way online friend. Most of the time, we have a casual conversation about how we are and what we did and then end up talking about food and health.

This time, our conversation prolonged for quite a long time than the usual time. We were talking about our likes and interest. I said, I like actors and I even said his name, "Zac Efron" excitingly and happily thinking that he would consider my likes. In contrary to what I thought, he turned me off. He said, "If you really want to take interest in someone then you should like sports person" Then he started giving reasons to why I should be liking a sports person when I am not a big fan of sports since my high school times and till now, it has not changed.

For whatever the reasons it might be, I wasn't the person who would go for sports during my high school days. But it is common for me to watch football with my friends whenever the show is ON in TV. It is fun!

I think that every person in this world strives hard to become a famous and a successful person. No one in this world is an icon without working hard. I love actors because I know what it is like to be them and I know what it takes to become an actor. It is same for the sports person, they are playing because it is their passion and they work hard to be strong and tough just like an actor does in their profession.

All in all, I had a good time talking with my friend over the likes and interest. Our chat wasn't a waste. It is funny, he even pointed on girls interest in shopping and fashionista. Of course, it is every girls dream to be a Diva in her life. Girls live in their dreams and be happy always. Our chat ended like always, with a hope to meet next time. I meant it!!!

Easter Day

Australian's has it their way of celebration. Easter Day is one day after the Good Friday. It falls on the following Sunday. Christian celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion.

As far as I know, Easter Sunday is a very important day for Christians unlike for us, Bhutanese and non-believer of Christians. They go to Church and pray while we either stay at home or we go out for for fun.

Easter Sunday is celebrated with Easter Eggs made of Chocolate. Woolworths, the grocery shopping centre is usually full of Easter Eggs on such occasion. I must day, it is delicious.

The taste of an Easter Egg is uniform but it is really pretty and attractive because the egg is filled with different beautiful colours.

Well, it is also interesting to note that Easter Weekend marks the end of Summer Season for Australians. Finally, it is going to be cold after such a long day of warm sun and the rainfall.

P,S, Easter just made my day. I am so happy and I am never going to forget this years Easter because Rihanna was in Sydney today. But the fact is I didn't see her :(

Good Friday

Good Friday is a religious, and is national holiday in Australia. All Christians commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

This year, Good Friday was on 6th of April. All the shops and liquor store remained close on Friday except for the few Asian Stores.

We proudly take Good Friday as a holiday, a break from Uni work and we prefer to stay at home. While some have a friends or family gathering at the beach or at home to spend their holidays.

Good Friday is a busy day for Christians because they have a family gathering. The Christian family goes to attend the ceremonies to mourn the death of Jesus Christ in the Church. They spend their day with a purpose.Good Friday equals a dry day for us. If we go out for fun then it is like going to school on holiday.

Howsoever, such holidays breaks our heart because we miss Bhutan and we miss our family and friends in Bhutan.

This year, we didn't wanted to waste our day and we headed to the beach. It was fun because we saw lots of people on the beach;family, friends, couple, students, and children's. The day went perfectly.

How ironical! We planned a girls night out and the club was closed. Good friday is all about Celebration and out of excitement, we forgot Good Friday. It was a huge disappointment but an ignorance of the day crossed our mind. We were really into fun mood because we are on break.

This year, Good Friday was certainly a fun experience. It was a fun holiday and not a holy holiday for us.
